Data & Software Engineering

Your data, connected and working for you.

We build the data infrastructure growing businesses in Egypt and the Gulf run on — and the software around it.

Data engineering for growing businesses. Pipelines, warehouses and reporting — plus the backend services and integrations that connect them.

What we do

Data engineering first. Software where your data needs it.

Our core work is data engineering: connecting sources, building pipelines and warehouses, and preparing information people can rely on. Around it, we build the backend software that feeds, serves and acts on that data.

Data Engineering

Our core service. We connect scattered data sources and build the pipelines, warehouses and models that turn operational information into dependable reports and analytics.

Situations we work on

  • Your data lives in different systems.Information is spread across applications, databases and external providers.
  • Reports take too long to prepare.Important figures depend on repeated exports, spreadsheets and manual reconciliation.
  • You have data, but no reliable way to use it.Raw operational data needs validation and modelling before it is useful for reporting.

Software & Integrations

APIs, integrations and backend services that feed your data, serve it and act on it — built around the way your business works.

Situations we work on

  • Your applications don't share data properly.Systems lack the integrations and APIs that keep information moving.
  • Your data needs to reach people and systems.Reports aren't enough; other applications need the same data through reliable services.
  • You need software your tools can't provide. From internal tools to processing services built around your actual workflows.

How data moves

See how a data pipeline works, from source to report.

Choose a stage to see what happens there, or replay the sample. The data flow shows records becoming a report; the software view shows how a new order enters your systems and is handed to the data platform.

Illustrative example — synthetic data, not a live system.

Stage 1 of 4: Sources

Sources

Two sample sources: a point-of-sale export with 4 orders and an online-ordering API with 4 order deliveries.

The software and the data platform share the same APIs, events and data stores. Order W-3004 from the software view is queued for the next data ingestion run.

How engagements work

Our data engineering process, from first conversation to handover.

  1. Discovery

The business problem, existing systems, data sources, constraints and priorities.

  2. Scope & proposal

Boundaries, approach, deliverables and costs — sometimes starting with a limited pilot.

  3. Agreed milestones

Defined requirements, milestones and acceptance criteria before work begins.

  4. Implementation

Building the agreed systems, with regular progress updates and demonstrations.

  5. Testing & validation

Automated tests, data validation, integration checks and error handling.

  6. Documented handover

Code, deployment information and documentation for client-owned projects.

  7. Optional maintenance

Ongoing support and improvements under a separately agreed arrangement.

Every engagement follows these steps. Commercial terms are set in each project's agreement.

Introductory pilot

Start with a free data pilot.

For data projects that fit its scope, we offer a free, limited introductory pilot. We connect one accessible source, prepare an initial reporting dataset, and walk you through the result.

The target is about one week once scope, authorised access and prerequisites are confirmed. Timing depends on access, data quality and technical complexity.

Ask about a pilot

Included in the pilot

  1. A discovery discussion
  2. One accessible data source and a limited ingestion connection
  3. An agreed dataset stored in a reporting database
  4. Basic transformations and an initial reporting model
  5. A basic dashboard or reporting walkthrough
  6. A proposal for any follow-up work

The pilot is free of professional fees. Any third-party costs, such as cloud services or software licences, are agreed with you before we start.

Any work after the pilot is planned and quoted separately.

Additional systems, extensive historical data, production infrastructure, advanced dashboards and ongoing monitoring are planned and priced separately.

How we work with your systems.

  • Your code and infrastructure

You own the code and repositories, and your cloud accounts stay under your control. Your project agreement confirms it.

  • Clear deliverables

Scope, milestones and acceptance criteria are agreed before work starts.

  • Maintainable engineering

Readable code, sensible structure and tests where they matter.

  • Documentation

Setup, architecture and operating notes delivered with the work.

  • Testing and monitoring

Checks relevant to each engagement, from automated tests to data validation.

  • Responsible data access

Access limited to what the work requires, defined with you.

Each project's agreement confirms these as binding terms.

FAQ

Questions about working with us

Can you combine data from several branches or systems into one report?

Yes — this is core data engineering work. We connect each source, such as point of sale, sales, inventory or online orders, validate and reconcile the records, and build one reporting dataset so every branch is measured the same way.

Can you automate reports we prepare by hand in spreadsheets?

Yes. We replace repeated exports and copy-paste with scheduled pipelines that collect, check and prepare the data, so reports and dashboards update on their own.

How does a project start?

With a discovery conversation about the business problem, your existing systems and any constraints. We then propose a scope — sometimes a limited pilot first — with milestones and acceptance criteria.

Who owns the code and infrastructure?

You do. You own the code and repositories, and your cloud accounts stay under your control. Each project's agreement confirms it.

What is the introductory pilot?

A free, limited data pilot for projects that fit its scope: one accessible source, one reporting dataset and a basic dashboard or walkthrough. The target is about one week once access and scope are confirmed.

Do you offer maintenance after delivery?

Optional maintenance and support can be agreed separately. Scope and response arrangements are defined in that agreement.

Do you work with companies outside Egypt?

Yes. We're based in Egypt and work with businesses across Egypt and the Gulf, in English and Arabic.
